First steps

You installed Allay and picked how to pay. Now check that it answers.

1. Check the backend. Run /allay status as an operator. It shows your key (masked), the subscription with its limit, or that the backend is self-hosted.
2. Ask something. Type:

   /ask how do I craft a beacon?

   The action bar shows a spinner and a changing verb while Allay looks things up, and a chat line appears for each tool it uses. The answer comes in the chat with buttons under it.
3. Try chat mode. Run /allay chat, then write a question in chat without any command. Run /allay chat again to turn it off.
4. Open the window. /allay opens the settings window: chat mode and its tip, your time zone and language, memory, starting over, full privacy, and “My data”.
5. Tell your players. They need nothing but /ask. Asking “what can you do?” makes Allay explain its own commands and settings, as this player has them.
